We have been monitoring the weather forecast and conditions closely. Unfortunately we have reached the point where, for the first time in 35 years, we must postpone. We can no longer be confident about keeping the course safe and maintaining first aid and emergency cover across the course.
We realise that this will be a disappointment to runners who have trained for months. It is also a disappointment to our 150 volunteers who have worked so hard to prepare for the event. You will understand that we have to treat safety as the first priority.
We will try to rearrange the race for a future date. Please bear with us as we now have a lot of logistics to sort out. When we have it, we will post further information here and on this Facebook page.
